Mandatory provisions of Right To Information Act, 2005. (Clauses b (i) to (xvii) under Section 4, Sub-section 1 of RTI, Act)

|(i)||The particulars of its organisation, functions and duties.||GSTN is a private limited company registered under Section 25 of Companies Act, 1956. The following information is provided on the Organization and functions of the Company:

|(ii)||The powers and duties of its officers and employees.||The HR Policy of GSTN has not been finalised. Presently, GSTN is headed by a Chairman who is supported by an OSD and Private Secretary. The post of VP (Fin) has been filled through deputation and a Company Secretary has been recruited from the market.
The Board of GSTN has authorised Chairman, GSTN to sanction expenditure over furniture, furnishings, stationery, consumables, equipment, lease/ rental payment of hired accommodation/ building, hiring and purchase of vehicles, hiring of outsourced services, payment of salary and allowances, travelling allowance and other expenses required for purposes of proper functioning of GSTN up to Rs 25 lakhs in each instance. All other powers are vested in the Board.
|(iii)||The procedure followed in the decision making process, including channels of supervision and accountability||The policy level decisions are made by the Board of Directors. The operational decisions are made by the Chairman in terms of the delegation of powers approved by the Board.|
|(iv)||The norms set by it for the discharge of its functions||The process to finalise detailed norms including delegation of powers for discharge of GSTN’s functions is presently under preparation.|
|(v)||The rules, regulations, instructions, manuals and records, held by it or under its control or used by its employees for discharging its functions||The process to finalise rules, regulations, manual etc. is presently under preparation.|

|(vii)||The particulars of any arrangement that exists for consultation with, or representation by the members of the public in relation to the formulation of its policy or implementation thereof||1.Objectives of the Company are laid down in the MoA of the GSTN.
2.Policies relating to the Company are decided by the Board of Directors.
3.Presently the organisation is in its formative stage. On completion of Manual, rules and regulations, recruitment etc. arrangement shall be put in place for consultation with all the stakeholders of the Company, including the tax payers.
|(viii)||A statement of the boards, councils, committees and other bodies consisting of two or more persons constituted as its part or for the purpose of its advice, and as to whether meetings of those boards, councils, committees and other bodies are open to the public, or the minutes of such meetings are accessible for public.||1.The following are the details of the Board and Advisory Committees constituted by GSTN:
